A lovely part of Northern Ireland, great walks, good parking, perfect for kids or walking dogs along seafront. Also has a very good, if small, play park. Close to restaurants and cafes in Holywood. Only reason 5 stars not given is because I'm not sure of hygiene ratings for the seawater if anyone is intent on bathing

Lovely place for kids and adults. Kids play area in close proximity to the beach with a beautiful view of the coast line. The beach itself is not too great at this particular spot but it's decent enough. Nice for a long walk. Theres also a large grassy area for picnics or for a bit of sport. Great for weekend outings especially for kids.
If the weather is good this is a great place to bring children, there's a good play park and nice but small beach. Great view across Belfast Lough and you can walk along the coastal path to Bangor if you like long walks. Only problem is dog poo in the grassy area around the play park.
