Since joining the surgery last year I have found Brook Street Doctors and staff to be professional and kind and all times. They have been really helpful especially when my kids have been unwell and I have found that the practice is run really efficiently and well.

needed some specific vaccine they didnt have. so i had to go there to get the prescription, to find a chemist that will have it in stock, they couldnt even tell me which chemist will or how to check it, to go get it and only then to call and make the appointment and bring it with me. and i had a day and a half for all this

Dr McCreery announced in front of my daughter I'll sort that breast clinic appointments for you... when I had explained I wanted it kept private so as not to worry my kids unnecessarily. Very unprofessional, zero confidentiality, rushes appointment and makes assumptions about your symtoms without listening to what your saying. Frightenly incompetent.

For a long period I was repeatedly self harming and suicidal, which the staff were aware of. One evening I was really desperate and begged Dr. McCreery for help. She refused. I kept on pleading so she eventually called the mental health services (which she knows are little use) and said they would see me in the morning. I explained I needed help at the time, that I was too scared to go home lest I kill myself, so she called the police saying I was a nuisance. They brought me to A&E and shortly afterwards I had to go aboard for the inpatient treatment I needed, which Dr. McCreery had refused to get me. On my hospital admission, my weight was so low that the staff thought I was anaroxeic. When my health recovered, I recently asked another GP at the branch why Dr. McCreery had refused to help and instantly was told to leave or the police be called. The police came along with a mental health social worker who took my side, so the practice manager agreed to meet with me about the incident the next day but it turned we were not meeting alone has she had said- she had a witness but the witness was not a medical professional. I expressed my discomfort of having to talk of my multiple suicide attempts in front of a non-professional which another doctor Dr. Leech had said he called the police because I was "refusing to leave" yet no one had asked me to leave!! The police brought me to A&E. Before they arrived I became distressed and Dr. Leech loudly declared in public that I "thrived on bad behaviour". The practice now refuse to treat me and refuse to let me discuss the issue with them, even though I simply wanted an explanation behind this dereliction of duty.
