This place is cosy and rustic. When the weather's cold, there's a few log fires on the go inside. If you're lucky enough to get a little sun, sitting outside with the sea breeze is charming. The food choice is awsome. All kinds of tasty, tasty seafood and classic pub grub. Real ales on tap, and the atmosphere is buzzing. I love this place.
Went here for Christmas lunch with work. I got a burger with chips which was really tasty. I did find my chips to be a bit small in portion, esp in regards to my work colleagues portions. Over all a good meal and I will definitely be back
This place has been a favourite for many years and rightly so. The walls inside and out are bedecked with awards for the hospitality. A great menu supplemented with daily specials. A selection of draft beers and hand drawn ales, unique in Irish bars. A wide range of gins as seems to be the standard these days and a good range of Irish whiskey. There really should be something for everyone. You can choose between the pub style eating on the ground floor or more restaurant style upstairs with fab views over the Belfast Lough. There's a heated out door smoking area and beer garden for those fine summer Irish days, (bring a jumper or coat ). This really is the standard by which all pubs should be judged.
Comfortable surroundings. Friendly and efficient staff. Great service. Delicious food. Will definitely be back.
